Megumi Tanaka

About

Megumi grew up in Cupertino, CA. They started using Photoshop and publishing websites in the '00s, leading to an obsession with designing for infinite screen sizes.

In the '10s, they worked as a Product Designer for San Francisco companies including Prosper Marketplace, Reali, and StyleSeat.

In the early '20s, they shifted to web development for clients including Song Tea & Ceramics, Flask & Field, Cosmopolitan (for ilovecreatives Studio), Front (for Fuzzco), Span (for Studio Jud), and Nuance Labs. Today, they are focused on product design systems.

They taught coding at Parsons School of Design, ilovecreatives, and Index in NYC. They care a lot about data privacy and accessibility.
